Interesting facts about the Venus

A planet close in size to Earth (about 0.815).

The atmosphere of Venus is 96.5% (by volume) carbon dioxide, the remaining 3.5% is nitrogen, oxygen, carbon monoxide and water vapor.

Venus rotates around the Sun in the opposite direction, from east to west (counter-clockwise).

Its temperature exceeds 400 degrees Celsius, it is one of the hottest planets. It is likely that this is explained by the greenhouse effect caused by a dense atmosphere and a large amount of carbon dioxide.

Venus has no satellites.

Things are even more interesting with Venus, 1 day on which lasts 243 Earth days, and a year is only 225.
