Pretty much everyone knows the feeling of dealing with people who have no idea what your profession actually means. Sometimes it can be really frustrating to explain nuances of your job that seems obvious to you on and on again.
Twitter user Mantia started a very informative thread by asking people “What’s something that seems obvious within your profession, but the general public seems to misunderstand?” Many people rushed to shed some light on the work they do actually entail. As a result, they dispelled myths about many common professions.
