Ne-Yo And Crystal Renay

Crystal Renay aired out husband Ne-Yo’s dirty laundry via a statement shared to Instagram on July 30, 2022.

“8 years. 8 years of lies and deception. 8 years of unknowingly sharing my life and husband with numerous women who sell their bodies to him unprotected… every last one of them! To say I’m heartbroken and disgusted is an understatement. To ask me to stay and accept it is absolutely insane. The mentality of a narcissist. I will no longer lie to the public or pretend that this is something it isn’t. I choose me. I choose my happiness and health and my respect. I gained three beautiful children out of this, but nothing else but wasted years and heartache. I ask that you all please stop sending me videos or information of him cheating, because what he does is no longer my concern. I am not a victim. I’m choosing to stand tall with my head held high. If someone can’t love you the way you deserve, then it’s up to you to love yourself. With no hate in my heart, I wish him nothing but the best,” she wrote.

The next day Ne-Yo posted a statement to Twitter, writing, “For the sake of our children, my family and I will work through our challenges behind closed doors. Personal matters are not meant to be addressed and dissected in public forums. I simply ask that you please respect me and my family’s privacy at this time.”

Keyshia Cole And Antonio Brown

Early in May 2022, rumors swirled that NFL player Antonio Brown and Keyshia Cole were dating, after they were photographed together. Then, Brown shared a video of Cole’s lower back tattoo, which featured the initials AB, and captioned the post, “You Ain’t Pimpin Until You Hit An RnB Diva. #FreeAgent #KeepPimpin.”

“It was a little harsh. Maybe he doesn’t know that it was a little harsh for him to say that. Even me speaking to him, he was like, ‘Do you want me to change the caption?’ And I was like, ‘No, no I don’t want you to change the caption,” the R&B singer said in an Instagram Live with celebrity stylist EJ King, after seeing the post. In that same Live, Cole also said, “I think he made it very clear. He was like, ‘Baby, I liked you at first, but now I don’t — it’s a no.’”

In an Instagram Story on May 17, that was quickly deleted, Cole wrote, “Yeah I was big trippin’… smh I see it now. I have a 12 year old. Like that type disrespect for what… Nothing is worth that level of disrespect, especially when you don’t deserve it. Had so much love, respect and admiration for ya. Guess that wasn’t mutual either.”

The drama continued when Brown went on Instagram Live to share his thoughts on the ordeal. “Keyshia Cole, I’m a player, man. We don’t want you Keyshia… I don’t go back. I go forward,” he said.

This comes after Cole collaborated on Brown’s first single, “Don’t Leave,” in April 2022. At the time, she told TMZ, “I love the body of work that he created. I think he’s gonna be great. I wouldn’t have collaborated if I didn’t think he’d be great.”

Ezra Miller

Ezra Miller was arrested in Hawaii again on April 19, 2022. Miller was arrested for second-degree assault around 1:30 a.m., per the Hawaii Police Department. “During the course of their investigation, police determined that the individual, later identified as Ezra Miller, became irate after being asked to leave, and reportedly threw a chair, striking a 26-year-old female on the forehead, resulting in an approximate half-inch cut,” a news release about the incident read. Reportedly, the woman who had been injured refused treatment. Miller has since been released from jail, pending further investigation.

The Flash star had previously been arrested on March 28, 2022, in Hawaii, and charged with disorderly conduct and harassment after an altercation the previous night at a karaoke bar in Hilo. Miller was reportedly “yelling obscenities and became agitated when people began singing karaoke,” the police said. They also allegedly grabbed the microphone from a woman mid-song, and lunged at a man who was playing darts.

They star was arrested just after midnight, and released after posting $500 bail.

This news comes after they have been causing quite the stir in Hawaii. Police said they have received at least 10 calls about the actor since March 7, with complaints ranging from filming people at a gas station to refusing to leave the sidewalk area of a restaurant.

Will Smith

Will Smith shocked fans, viewers, and Chris Rock when he walked onto the stage at the 2022 Academy Awards and slapped the comedian across the face, then walked back to his seat.

The incident occurred while Rock was introducing the award for best documentary, and joked about Jada Pinkett Smith’s haircut with, “Jada, I love ya. G.I. Jane 2, can’t wait to see ya.” Jada has been outspoken about having alopecia (hair loss), hence the haircut. When her husband, Will, saw how upset she was at the comment, he hopped up, and as Rock said, “slapped the sh*t out of him.”

Though the broadcast cut sound in America, other countries shared unedited footage that showed Will yelling at Rock from his seat, “Keep my wife’s name out your f*cking mouth.” Rock was noticeably stunned by Will’s response, saying, “Wow, dude, it was a G.I. Jane joke.” Will, however, was not in the mood to discuss it, simply repeating, “Keep my wife’s name out your f*cking mouth!”

“I’m going to, okay?” Rock responded, then resumed with presenting the award, noting, “That was the… greatest night in the history of television.”

Will went on to win his first Oscar for best actor for his role in King Richard, wherein he plays the father of Venus and Serena Williams. In his long, tearful acceptance speech, he said, “I want to apologize to the Academy. I want to apologize to all my fellow nominees. This is a beautiful moment, and I’m not crying for winning an award. It’s not about winning an award for me.” He also spoke about how he wants to be a “vessel of love” and has been called upon to protect the women in his life.
